Ukraine will carry out a military reform to make its armed forces
“modern” and “European-like,” first deputy chief of the country’s
General Staff of the Armed Forces, Vice Adm. Ihor Kabanenko, said on
Monday.
“The goal [of the military reform] is to create in Ukraine a modern European-like armed forces, small in numbers but well-trained, properly supported, mobile and professional,” he said.
