U.S. military buildup in Asia includes expanded missile defense capabilities

The United States is planning to “expand its missile defenses in Asia, in response to threats from North Korea and aggressive moves by China”, according to the Voice of America.
The buildup could include a new radar in southern Japan and possibly another one in Southeast Asia. The “X-band radars” would be linked to missile defense ships and land-based interceptors” (see article: US To Expand Missile Defense In Asia http://blogs.voanews.com/breaking-news/2012/08/23/us-to-expand-missile-defense-in-asia/ ).
X-band radars in this case would be forward deployed in Japan.
That may include the FBX-T system.
